Hello, my fellow Gibbians

Isn't that a monkey species also??? I am sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth but I'm having a hard time getting my act together and doing all of the necessary things that need to be done after my wonderful husband passed away on January 17.  He was truly my soul mate and best friend and I'm going to miss him something fierce. Thanks for the cards, they helped so much.

Now, I promise to try not to be terribly maudelin but can't promise not to be sentimental.

Tried to edit the dashboard to add my bd, but don't have those priviledges (not a bad thing, cause I'm not sure I wouldn't destroy the blog!), it's December 13, but I'm not having one this year because it a REALLY HUGE MILESTONE!!!

I'm probably going to pass on the first couple of swaps, got to have my left knee replaced on the 21st and hope to go to Florida for a few weeks in March.  I can't wait to see what everyone is making though!  I had committed to a paper clip swap and just finished those up last night, but think thats the last one for me for a bit till I get my act together.....

Glad to be back!!

Gayle,
Good to see you on. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Although, i don't know you really at all.. i see you in the Gibbs and my heart goes out to your and your unimaginable pain. Memories can never be taken away.

Gayle, it's so good to hear from you again. I'll pray for your speedy recovery from your surgery. I'm so sorry that your time with your husband was cut short but he will always be with you and watching over you. Love does not end just like that. You can also share with us pics of your altered paperclips. I would love to see them.

So exactly how do you see the "wish list" and pick something for someone; I've never participated in one before.

When Tammy posts the post for the month- then you add your wishes to the comments. It should be one of the very first posts to see what everyone did wish. That might help.
