Pictures

Hey Everyone,
I have a question for you guys in regards to taking pictures.
My pictures don't seem to come out, nicely.
I search a light box on youtube. Is this what you guys are using?
I have looked at some of your blogs and your pictures look so nice.

Any Help would be appreciated!!!

Lisa,
Anytime you can take a picture in natural sunlight do. Mornings and afternoons are best to keep a glare to a min. Also, there is alot of free photo editing software sites online. Picasa is one that I use regularly. You can down load it to your computer and edit with out being online. Editing with Picasa includes, straightening, cropping, red eye removal and effects like glow and can even create a vintage look.
Hope this helps and good luck

Lisa, Kimi's right, the best way is with natural light. My pictures aren't the best, either, but I try!! Sometimes I'm in a hurry and photograph at night, which is awful!!! No light box here, I'm too cheap! LOL!!! Just keep trying new things!
Have fun!

I use my Color catcher- lined with white paper, and use a macro setting (the tulip) or close up setting, and have a light above the object. Before I got elements, I too used Picasa, and just might go back to it. I miss those features. And the sad thing is- Elements was $150 with the video editing software included, but Picasa is FREE!

I just put my project(s) on a piece of white foam-core board I've had lying around for awhile. I don't put any direct light on the project(s) and use my flash. Hope this helps!
